I sent an mp3 of a multi track recording to my sister a while ago and she played it to an acquaintance who said that it was ‘impossible’ for anyone to play more than 1 instrument in a recording. I was branded a liar and my sister was stupid for believeing me! So I made this video to show how easy it is. I use n-track which is one of the cheapest multi track recorders – £30 or US$50 I think. I only did 2 tracks because making the video was a bit tiresome.

Part 3 – Mastering and Exporting your song to mp3
Micro BR is a portable 4-track digital recorder by Boss. It’s a very versatile recorder that sounds very good. You can use it to record quick sketches of songs, your band rehearsal, pratice music theory, drum machine, use it as guitar effects processor or as a field recorder to capture sounds outdoors. At least I’ve used it in all those ways.
In this video series I’m going to show you how I record with it. The next part will be about mastering and exporting a finished song to MP3.

This is my entry into the “This Contest Blows” contest held by Smule, the makers of the wonderful Ocarina app for the iPhone (and many other apps too).
This recording was kind of rushed and done last minute, I hope everyone enjoys it!
